The Chocolate Hills are located in Bohol. The hills form almost symmetrical shape. It was estimated to be from 1268 to about 1776 of 30-90 meter dome-shape and cone-shape mounds. The unique natural formation of hills scattered sround Carmen, Sagbayan and Batuan towns in Bohol. The landscape form was affected by tectonic movement that caused the limestone to be uplifted. Long exposure to water and wind then shaped the hills landscape like what we see now. I realized that our nature are full with surprises.

I never had an imagination on this such landscape as it is uncommon to me. However, this landscape really wonderful as there's only one place like this in the universe. One of the famous local folk-tale about this chocolate hills is that long time ago, there was a clash between giants where they threw sand and stones to each other. The two giants then became exhausted after fighting for several days. Thus, they reconciled their relation. However they forgot to clean up the mess during the fight so from that, the Chocolate Hills was created.
